Nevertheless, it is important to follow a few simple precautions:

1. Avoid exposure between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., when irradiation is strongest.

2. Expose yourself gradually, in a gentle manner.

3. Avoid prolonged exposure even with a high SPF sunscreen.

4. Reapply sunscreen frequently after swimming or sports activities, and at least every 2 hours.

5. Do not expose babies or children under 3 years old directly to the sun.

6. Protect children with a hat, a T-shirt, and sunglasses even under a cloudy sun. Beware of reflection; sunburn can also occur under an umbrella…
