Blackheads: How to Get Rid of Them Without Squeezing?
A torment for both men and women, blackheads are often found on young and oily skin. Blackheads are linked to an excess of sebum, which oxidizes upon contact with the skin. Today, it is not recommended to squeeze them, because as nature abhors a vacuum, once the blackhead is removed, it turns into a crater, which can then harbor a pimple.

Good facial hygiene
First and foremost, it is essential to regulate excess sebum. The oilier the skin, the more blackheads will appear. An exfoliating gel is ideal for gently removing blackheads. However, a weekly application is enough to avoid stripping the skin’s hydrolipidic film.
The best way to get blackheads is to skip the makeup removal step. Makeup left on the skin for more than 12 hours oxidizes. In the morning, the skin feels tight and lacks radiance. With hazelnut vegetable oil, a cleansing oil, a cleansing gel, or micellar water, makeup removal takes no more than 5 minutes and ensures radiant skin every day.
Oily skin often has enlarged pores. A purifying mask, once a week, can help tighten pores and mattify the skin.
A weekly routine to remove blackheads
Once blackheads have settled in, what can you do to dislodge them from the pores without brutalizing and damaging your skin? Adhesive patches are often recommended for removing blackheads. With a waxing effect on the skin, they are usually applied to the T-zone (nose, forehead, chin) on damp skin. Once the patch is dry, it is quickly peeled off and the blackheads stick to the adhesive. A good layer of moisturizer is recommended with this treatment.
A steam bath helps open the pores of the skin. Once dilated, you can buy a comedone extractor, a small tool that allows you to press the skin to dislodge blackheads. It is sold in pharmacies for around ten euros. The advantage is using a clean, disinfected instrument, rather than your fingers, in contact with the epidermis.
Finally, you can use a mask made of whipped egg white with a drop of lemon essential oil to open the pores and help unclog them, along with an exfoliation.
