Aloe Vera is a succulent plant from the Liliaceae family. Native to hot and desert regions, it is now cultivated in many countries under hot and dry climates. Known since antiquity by Egyptians and Chinese for its healing properties on burns and injuries, Aloe Vera is also said to have been used by Cleopatra to maintain the softness and beauty of her skin.
And why is it good for our skin?
Composed of 99% water, Aloe Vera is recognized for its soothing and hydrating virtues thanks to its high concentration of vitamins and nutrients. The gel extracted from its leaves provides an immediate cooling effect and soothes the skin. The plant is particularly appreciated in products for dry and damaged skin.
