Cleaning Baby’s Face
A 2-month-old baby needs their little face cleaned every day. The nose, eyes, and ears are very delicate areas that must be cleaned carefully. For this, you just need a few products on hand to ensure proper hygiene: saline solution, sterile gauze pads, and you’re all set. In case of minor eye infections, for example, make sure to clean well and consult a pediatrician if necessary.
Tips for Changing Diapers?
Bathing your baby obviously includes changing their diaper. At two months, expect no fewer than 6 diapers a day. It’s a routine you’ll have to manage until potty training. By two months, you’re probably used to it. The only difference is that your baby is starting to move, making it dangerous to leave them unattended on the changing table, even for a second.
What About My Baby’s Nails?
At birth and during the first few weeks, your baby’s nails are so soft that you use a cardboard nail file. At two months, they’re a bit harder and can be trimmed with special scissors if they’re long, once or twice a month. Cutting them isn’t exactly fun, and your baby may not let you do it easily. The best time is while they’re sleeping.
