First, body and hair care
As soon as you leave the maternity ward, you need to take care of your baby by giving them a daily bath. This true ritual allows you to get closer to your baby and is an intimate moment where you can pamper them.

Before giving birth, you probably planned for a small bathtub equipped with a mini recliner. With your bath thermometer, check the water temperature before placing your baby in it. It should be around 37°C. Choose a dermatological superfatted soap or a very gentle cleansing gel, specially made for babies. Often, the question arises about hair: should you wash it every day? Pediatricians recommend daily shampooing during the first four months to prevent cradle cap and remove the abundant perspiration of a newborn. After the bath and once all the folds are thoroughly dried, use a special baby moisturizing lotion and extend this application time, which is a real relaxing massage for your baby.

And then the face…
Every day, you should make sure to clean your baby's eyes, nose, and ears. For this, use natural products, such as saline solution and cotton pads. Be sure to use a different cotton pad for each part of their anatomy to avoid infections.
