Balancing Facial Care: The Benefits

It is important to purify, mattify, and balance certain skin types that may tend to shine. It is therefore essential not to skip the cleansing step, doing so gently to avoid attacking the epidermis and causing an overproduction of sebum. Balancing facial care should be done daily with water-rich products to hydrate.

Purifying treatments to eliminate impurities
1/ Makeup removal
Cleansing should be done daily. Depending on your preferences and tastes, the product can take different forms: a soap-free cleansing bar, a cleansing gel, a mousse or cleansing cream, micellar water, or even a cleansing oil. You can use an electric or manual brush to remove all impurities. To perfect makeup removal, nothing beats a purifying toner or a mattifying lotion.

2/ A gentle exfoliation
If the sebaceous glands are irritated, the reaction will be an overproduction of sebum. In trying to purify your skin, it can become even more clogged. That’s why you should use a detoxifying exfoliant, in the form of a gentle scrub or a peeling exfoliating cream. With microbeads, it acts on the pores.

3/ A purifying mask for renewed skin
If your skin needs it, a detoxifying and purifying mask once a week will have an energizing and mattifying effect. As a deep cleanser, the mask has an oxygenating and anti-shine effect. At least once a month is often recommended.

Clear, mattified skin, free of imperfections, thanks to a rebalancing treatment
While glowy skin is trendy and radiant, shine is often dreaded by those with oily skin.

It is recommended to apply treatments in 2 steps: a pore-minimizing serum to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, and a mattifying treatment that can target imperfections, in the form of a cream, gel, or fluid. It should be hydrating, sebum-regulating, and skin-perfecting.

For a velvety finish, it is recommended to apply a primer that refines pores, with a concealer for imperfections and light makeup such as a BB cream, with SPF to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays. During the day, you can mattify your makeup with powdered blotting papers, which have a blotting effect.
