What are the daily hydration routines to keep your baby’s skin soft and comfortable?

When we talk about soft skin, we often say "he has baby skin," even though very often, redness, dry patches, chapping, irritation, and itching affect their much thinner and more fragile skin, especially in the first months. This of course depends on the quality of their skin, the clothes used, and the nature of the water, which is sometimes very hard.

To prevent this dryness and help your baby's skin stay soft and comfortable, follow these golden rules using effective products to nourish their skin:

  • Wash them with a lipid-enriched cleansing gel that will respect and enrich the superficial hydrolipidic film of their skin while counteracting the harmful effects of hard water; Also, be careful with the bath water temperature, which should not be too hot (around 37°C).

  • After drying, massage them with a suitable (sweet almond) and hypoallergenic body oil. The massage, which helps the oil penetrate well into the skin, also has a soothing effect.

The face is often the first to dry out quickly when exposed to air. You should use a specific moisturizing and nourishing cream for the face, several times a day if the skin is really very dry. Reserve cold cream for very cold weather. For cleaning, instead of wipes or a washcloth with water and soap, prefer a dab of moisturizing cleansing milk with a lint-free cotton pad. Of course, don’t neglect diaper area care at every change. A few simple and easy steps, good suitable products, and your child will have that beautiful “baby skin” that everyone envies.

Cold, wind, temperature changes, and friction are harsh: remember to protect your baby.
