Dry Hair Care: It’s Not Inevitable!
Lack of hair care and poor treatment habits lead to excess sebum and can make hair dry and brittle. Sebum normally helps to hydrate the scalp, and when deficient, can cause irritation and itching.
The hair loses its elasticity and becomes duller and more vulnerable.

Dry hair, the causes
While there are genetic causes, scalp dryness is often due to harsh environmental conditions. Sun, wind, rain, iodine in seawater, or chlorine in pools are all potential causes.
Additionally, overly tight curlers, too frequent and vigorous brushing, or coloring too often are all causes linked to poor lifestyle habits.
How to use a treatment for dry hair?
It should be gentle and nourishing. Be sure to choose a special treatment for dry hair. These are typically rich in ceramides or essential fatty acids. It is also recommended to rinse with cold water. Water that is too hot or too hard tends to dry out the scalp and destroy the effect of the treatment you have applied.
Application techniques
Before shampooing, every other time, apply a shea butter mask to slightly damp hair. After keeping it under a warm towel for at least ten minutes, you can shampoo.
Be sure to gently massage the scalp with your fingertips, then pre-dry with a towel after rinsing with cold water.
Finally, with a hair dryer held fifteen centimeters from the head, dry your hair, never spending more than fifteen seconds on the same spot.
