If you spend hours in the sun, it’s to get a beautiful tan! Unfortunately, instead of getting golden, you end up burning! No matter what you do, your tan is never as deep as you’d like. But what are all those people doing who get a gorgeous golden glow? Here are some tips that should delight you!
Prepare your skin…
To achieve a beautiful, deep, and even tan, it’s important to prepare your skin before your first sun exposure. You can take capsules for a month before your first rays of sunshine.
Their purpose is to provide your skin with what it needs to tan well. Of course, this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t protect yourself, but you’ll get a better quality tan.
Start with high protection
It is highly recommended to start with a sunscreen with a high SPF during your first exposures. Don’t be afraid to use plenty and don’t hesitate to reapply! Some people think a high SPF prevents tanning. That’s not true! On the contrary, you’ll tan better, but without burning!
Gradually lower your protection
Once you’ve passed this first stage and have a bit of color, you can use a lower SPF. At this point, your skin has started to develop its own protection (your tan) and can defend itself a bit better.
Moisturize with after-sun
After sun exposure, if you want your skin to look beautiful, you need to make sure to moisturize it well. For this, nothing beats a good application of after-sun for intense hydration and to soothe the heat from the rays.
