Bath milk for massaging baby for the first time?
The very first time, especially if baby is still very small (from 1 to 4 months), it's better to do a short massage session, about 5 minutes. Massages will extend over time as baby grows and as you gain confidence in yourself and your gestures. The first massages should be light, offering only caresses and light touches, on the <strong changing table after a diaper change or even when he is in the bath. As a mother, you should be available and calm at that moment, otherwise, postpone the massage for another time.

How to massage baby from 4 months?
The massage will relax baby, but it will also help him become aware of all parts of his body. First and foremost, remember to remove your rings and cut your nails to avoid scratching him. Warm a body oil specifically adapted for babies between your hands for a few seconds. Lay baby naked on his back facing you, and start by lightly touching all around his body, from the soles of his feet to the top of his skull. Then place your hands flat on his shoulders and gently slide them down to his legs, which you will then massage one after the other. Finally, massage arms and hands. Then place him on his belly to massage his back and buttocks in the same manner as before. Repeat each movement 4 to 5 times.

Baby massage oil
Massaging is especially appreciated by very young children, mainly because it is a privileged moment shared with their mother, an instant of absolute tenderness. But it is not at all forbidden, quite the contrary, for dad to also massage baby! Encourage him once to do it, you'll see that dad and baby will also enjoy it. Another tip: Never force baby... If he's hungry, crying, tired... postpone the session. Likewise, when the massage has started, stop as soon as he gets impatient! Also ensure that the massage place is calm and soothing (no loud music, no siblings shouting...).

Just because you're not a kinesiologist, doesn't mean you don't have the right to massage baby. On the contrary... Try this activity full of tenderness and gentleness, you'll be proud of yourself, and baby will be happy!
