How to wash a baby’s hair?

Baby's hair is fragile, and most of the time during the first months of life, you find the famous milk crusts... How to wash them, how often, which shampoo to use for baby, and how to eliminate milk crusts... discover everything about caring for baby's hair.

Baby's hair: washing

Above all, do not wash their hair every day, it's unnecessary and, moreover, it will damage the scalp and hair! Every 3 days is the ideal frequency! Even if they have milk crusts. To wash their hair, put a few drops of special baby shampoo or body and hair wash gel for baby on a washcloth and gently massage their scalp while washing. During bath time, take a small container and rinse their head by letting a stream of clear water flow, neither too hot nor too cold.

Baby's hair: drying

When your little one has finished their bath... Do not rub their head to dry their hair... Just pat gently with a sponge towel... Remember, their head, scalp, and hair are fragile.

Baby's hair: brushing

Once their hair is washed and dried, take a small soft-bristled brush designed for babies and gently comb their hair.

Baby's hair: protection

Whether for the sun or cold weather, always remember to cover your baby's head: summer cap, winter hat... The sun and cold can damage and sensitize baby's hair.
