Natural baby care: our selection

Baby's skin is delicate. Five times more permeable than that of an adult, the epidermis can become dry and irritated by products that are too harsh, which destroy the child's very thin hydrolipidic barrier. Choose natural baby care, with ingredients like nourishing olive oil or healing calendula. Composed of 95% natural origin ingredients, Corine de Farme products undergo dermatological and pharmaceutical testing to ensure optimal tolerance for young children.

Hair care
Before the age of 3, depending on hair volume, it is not always necessary to use shampoo. A body and hair cleansing gel can do the job perfectly. Often, little ones may have cradle cap, caused by excess sebum. This usually disappears by the age of 3.

To style hair, avoid gel, hairspray, and other aerosols, which are not suitable for babies. Opt for accessories to keep hair in place: scrunchies, barrettes, or clips.

The brush is important for styling baby's hair. Forget plastic combs, which create static electricity in the child's fine hair. Wooden combs are perfect for smoothing hair and making a small side part. The bristles of the brush should be soft and flexible to avoid irritating the scalp.

Natural bathing
The round, high bathtub is very trendy for babies under one year old. Very economical and eco-friendly, it allows you to bathe your baby with just a few liters of water. The child feels cocooned and enjoys their bath. For a soothing effect, you can add 2 to 3 tablespoons of chamomile floral water.

When it comes to products, opt for a 2-in-1 body and hair care. After the bath, remember to use a robe made of natural material like cotton to absorb water without irritating the skin. If the child's skin seems dry, a nourishing cream with plant-based cold cream made from olive wax, shea butter, calendula extract, and glycerin will provide more comfort. If the water is very hard, don't forget to use a thermal water spray to rinse your child.

Facial cleansing
Recommended by maternity wards, saline solution is the simplest and most natural product for cleaning a child's face. After the bath or meal, it is best to avoid products that are too rich near the eyes or lips.
