Parabens, the risks!

A panic surrounds parabens, but what are they really?
For over 50 years, parabens have been used as preservatives in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. They help combat the proliferation of microorganisms (bacteria, molds). There are five types: methylparaben, ethylparaben, butylparaben, isobutylparaben, or propylparaben.
Various studies have shown that they could be harmful to the body. They are suspected of being potentially carcinogenic.
By choosing "paraben-free" products, you can have peace of mind.
