What is sun capital? How do I know where I stand?
Sun capital is a somewhat abstract concept that tries to reflect the amount of ultraviolet rays the skin can receive without too much damage (premature aging, etc.).
This concept varies greatly from one individual to another. It depends on our skin type, our history, our sun habits, etc.

A person with fair skin has a much lower sun capital than someone with darker skin.
This sun capital is like a precious reservoir that gets depleted a little more with each sun exposure.
We can't really know our sun capital; that would be too easy.
However, there are warning signs that show when the skin has been exposed excessively.
The appearance of brown spots on the face and décolleté are signs of sun capital exhaustion. Another sign is the appearance of white spots following sunburn. It’s not dramatic, but you should pay attention to it.
