Phototype 1: Your skin is extremely sensitive. It is very fair and does not tan. Sunburns are guaranteed. You have blonde or red hair.
Phototype 2: Your skin is fair and sensitive. You have blonde, red, or light brown hair. Your eyes are green or brown. Sunburns are frequent, but you manage to tan lightly.
Phototype 3: Your skin is normal, you have chestnut to brown hair, and your eyes are brown. Sunburns are occasional, and your skin tans gradually.
Phototype 4: You have a medium complexion. Your hair is brown or black, and your eyes are dark. You rarely burn and tan very easily.
