The Tanning Sunscreen

Sun in a tube remains today the best solution to promote tanning. Self-tanner or sunscreen that accelerates tanning are designed to stimulate melanin synthesis, whether or not there has been sun exposure.

The goal is to limit the damage that prolonged UV exposure can cause—short-term, sunburn and burns; long-term, accelerated skin aging, pigmentation spots, or even melanoma. Choose a cream that helps you tan in the sun or in the shade!

Self-tanner for an even tan
A self-tanner is the cosmetic ally to give the epidermis a tanned look. To have a sun-kissed complexion all year round without risk, the product contains substances like natural DHA, which enhances tanning with each application.

The technique for applying self-tanner is simple. Good exfoliation is necessary to remove dead skin cells and give radiance to the tan. With a spray, application is easier thanks to the even distribution of the product. In cream form, you can mix the self-tanner with a body lotion for a more natural result. Be careful with areas like eyebrows, joints, folds, and hands to avoid unsightly marks.

Applying a self-tanner does not replace moisturizing with creams suited to the skin type of the face and body lotions, nor does it replace sun protection.

Suitable sun protection to protect your skin
A sun product, whatever its form (lotion, spray, oil, or gel), even with an SPF 50+, does not prevent tanning. It protects the skin thanks to its photo-protective qualities. As a sunscreen, it contains an effective UV filter and may be enriched with zinc oxide, a natural anti-UV protector.

It is strongly recommended, when exposing yourself to the sun, to avoid the most intense hours of sunlight and to apply a cream with the highest SPF at first. Gradually, you can lower the SPF to switch to an SPF of 25.
