How to use a plant-based oil?
Forget the misconceptions about plant-based oils! All skin types can use oils, even oily skin.
On the face, oil acts as a true treatment for the skin. On the body, it nourishes the upper layers of the skin. Depending on its type, the oil can be non-greasy and leave the skin satiny. You can even add golden micro-particles to make it shine.
As a hair bath, the night before shampooing, oil can provide a good dose of hydration to the hair. It can also be used in small amounts as a finishing oil to add shine to the hair.
For hair fiber, monoi and coconut oils revitalize damaged hair. If coconut oil is solid, monoi oil hardens below 18°C; simply run the bottle under hot water to liquefy it.
Which natural care oil should you choose?
Apricot kernel oil, like sesame oil, is perfect for massages or reflexology sessions. Light and fluid, it penetrates the skin quickly and remains an excellent base for blending essential oils.
Oily skin has its favorite oil: hazelnut oil, which has the particularity of tightening pores and reducing sebum production. Exceptionally effective, it can even replace day and night creams. Jojoba oil can also regulate combination to oily skin, while creating a barrier against external aggressions (sun, cold, dry air, etc.).
Known for their anti-aging properties, argan and evening primrose oils are among women's favorites for their antioxidant properties. "Moroccan gold" is another name for argan oil, which intensely hydrates the skin.
