Sunscreen Milk, an Ally Not to Be Overlooked

As soon as the first nice days arrive, sun protection milk becomes one of the essentials not to forget, especially if you have sensitive skin or if you need to protect your children’s skin. The very high protection sun protection milk SPF 50 is, without a doubt, the most suitable for you.

Sunscreen Milk, an Ally Not to Be Overlooked

Why use sun protection milk?

While there are several formats of sun care (oil, spray, gel, etc.), milk and cream are often the most commonly used. While cream is thicker and can be a bit more difficult to apply, milk flows easily, allowing for generous and easy application, especially on children’s skin.

Using sun protection helps protect your skin from dehydration, but most importantly from sunburn and burns. The goal is to preserve your sun capital, avoid discomfort, and prevent premature skin aging.

Corine de Farme SPF 50 sun protection milk has a fluid, non-sticky, and transparent texture that is water-resistant and pleasant to use. In addition, the Tahitian monoï it is enriched with gives it a soft, delicious, and sweet scent you won’t want to be without.

Note: The Hydration+ Protective Milk SPF50 offers effective protection against UVA and UVB thanks to high-performance, photostable filters (a photostable filter maintains its effectiveness throughout sun exposure as long as its protective power is not altered by UV rays).

Which Type of Sun Protection Should You Choose?

To choose the right sun protection, you’ll need to gather some information such as your skin type and phototype, the required protection factor, your texture preferences, and how you plan to use your sunscreen.

For example, if you have oily skin, opt for a very light formula like a sun mist or gel. Conversely, if you have dry or very dry skin, favor nourishing sun creams and balms.

The phototype refers to how reactive your skin is. Generally, the fairer the skin, the more it reacts to sun exposure. Phototype 0 is that of babies, while phototypes 5 and 6 correspond to brown, dark, or black skin.

Finally, the protection factor, indicated by the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) label, refers to the delaying effect of a cream or protective milk against the sun. An SPF50 means that the time before getting sunburned can be up to 50 times longer than without protection.

Note: if you play sports or plan to swim, it’s a good idea to use a sunscreen milk that is resistant to sweat and water.

How to Properly Apply and Reapply Your Sunscreen Milk

For maximum effectiveness of your sun protection, Sacrées Natures Corine de Farme recommends applying about 7 teaspoons of sunscreen milk to your entire body and face.

Don’t hesitate to regularly reapply your sun protection, especially on the most sensitive areas (where the skin is thinnest), during the hottest hours, and after sweating or swimming.

However, there’s no longer any need to apply your anti-sun body milk at home. Most protections today are effective immediately.

A good habit is also to apply sunscreen every day in summer, especially on weekends or during holidays when you spend time outdoors. If you also use a day cream or a certified organic facial cleansing gel, apply your sun protection after it.

Another tip: use a dry oil for tanning.
