Use Safe Wipes for Your Baby

However, you should be careful about the composition of wipes. It is preferable to choose paraben-free wipes for babies.

Which substances should be avoided in children's wipes?

Parabens are not favored in cosmetics, especially for babies. These preservatives are suspected of being endocrine disruptors. The Afssaps (French Agency for the Safety of Health Products) states that in small quantities, parabens would have no impact on health.

However, doctors, consumer associations, and environmental groups disagree and believe that a baby's skin is so thin it cannot act as a barrier. According to them, parabens pass into the blood and fatty tissues.
