A few days before going on vacation, you’re wondering how to best prepare your skin for the sun. A few tips will help you achieve a more intense, lasting, and luminous tan.
First, it is essential to get rid of dead skin cells that dull the tan. Exfoliate your body before the first exposures.
Second, take dietary supplements. They will help you fight “from the inside” against premature skin aging. Focus on beta-carotene, which promotes tanning, as well as vitamins C and E, and borage and evening primrose oils, which help maintain soft and elastic skin.
Third, boost your melanin (the pigment that colors the skin) using a tanning accelerator. Its application should be done at least 4 days before exposure and continued during the first 4 days under sunscreen protection.
Have a great holiday!
