Olive Leaf

A symbol of peace and longevity, the olive tree belongs to the Oleaceae family. An emblem of Mediterranean regions, revered by the Greeks, its generous nature offers its bark, fruits, and leaves without limit to build, nourish, or heal.

Where does this extract come from?

Originating from the Petit Saint-Jean Olive Grove, located on the Valensole plateau, most of the trees (90%) belong to the Aglandaù variety, which allows them to obtain the protected designation of origin (PDO). The owners of the olive grove, Josiane and Gérard Terrasson, cultivate their trees according to the rules of organic farming and with the utmost care to obtain quality harvests and provide equally exceptional extracts.

And why is it good for our skin?

Olive leaf extract, rich in oleuropein and known for its protective and moisturizing properties, helps the skin strengthen its natural defenses. Olive oil helps restore comfort to the skin and protects it from dehydration.

Our difference: an extract from organic farming

In the Alpes de Haute Provence department, olive leaves are delicately collected twice a year, first during the olive harvest in November/December and a second time in spring during tree pruning. Sourced from organic farming, their extraction is done by macerating the plants in an exclusively natural solvent. The extract is therefore 100% natural and gentle on the skin.

And how do we guarantee its effectiveness?

Titration allows us to determine the concentration of a chemical species in solution, in order to guarantee the activity of the molecules during extraction.
