Vervain

But where does this 'Sorcerers' Herb' come from?
Common or wild vervain (Verbena officinalis) originates from European meadows. This perennial plant, widespread throughout Europe, is easily found along roadsides and in uncultivated areas. The stems measure between 50 and 80 cm and are made up of cut, rough, and hairy leaves used in cosmetics. The plant blooms from June to October and produces small flowers, most often lilac in color, grouped in spikes.
And why is it good for our skin?
Vervain leaf is known for its soothing and antioxidant properties. It soothes sensitive and dry skin.
Our difference: an extract from organic farming!
In the South of France, vervain leaves are delicately hand-picked in summer, then dried. Coming from organic farming, they are untreated and carefully extracted with hot water to highlight the natural water-soluble compounds. The extract is therefore 100% natural and gentle on the skin.
